Shiso Juice
Ingredients:
1 # Shiso Leaves or Opal Basil
12 cups Filtered Water or Bottled Spring Water
1.5# Sugar
2Teaspoon Citric Acid (Find at a Pharmacy)
2 Tablespoon Fresh Ginger Juice
1 Bottle Sparkling Mineral Water
Instructions: (Make Weeks ahead and Bottle)
Bring the filtered Water up to a boil, Then add Shiso leaves and cook for Twenty Minutes while Stirring. Take leaves out of the water and strain.
Squeeze the leaves dry and discard. Take the Juice and add the sugar then the citric acid, Taste, Then Cool Down on Ice. Bottle the Shiso Juice in Clean Clear Bottles and Refrigerate.When In need for a Boost take a glass and Fill it with ice. One half fill with the Shiso juice, the other with
Sparkling Mineral Water and stir in the Freshly Juiced Ginger Juice and enjoy!
