Ingredients: Quiche
1 pound lean ground turkey
4 leaves of fresh shiso chopped (find at Japanese Grocery store)
¼ onion chopped sautéed and cooled
12 oz package Mishima shitake mushrooms strained, squeezed and broth discarded
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco
S&P to taste
Your favorite BBQ sauce
5 hamburger buns
Procedure:
Make burgers:
Prepare grill.
In a bowl with your hands mix burger ingredients until just combined (do not overmix) and form into five 1-inch-thick patties. Season burgers with salt and pepper and grill on a lightly oiled rack set 5 to 6 inches over glowing coals about 6 minutes on each side, or until just cooked through. Brush BBQ right when you flip ,Transfer burgers to buns and top with your favorite burger set-up.
